Body piercing is with pure grade titanium only, and with ear piercing there is a choice of metals available. The minimum age for navel piercing and needle ear piercing is 14yrs with parental consent (16-18yrs for all other needle piercings with parental consent) and the minimum age for gun ear piercing is 4 months with proof of up to date immunisations. I have a studio at my home address with parking available on the driveway and work by appointment only. I can offer home visits within Cambridge city for ear and nose piercing by stud gun only, at a call out charge of £10. Nose piercing with the gun is with a professional nose piercing gun by Studex which provides pre-sterile titanium 2mm gem studs or plain 2mm disks. I have two different ear piercing guns, one of which is the standard gun you will find in most salons, the second is the system 75 which is a push through method with thinner posts and better quality earrings, this gun can also safely be used to pierce the cartilage/helix, depending on ear size and shape. This is the perfect solution for young clients and people with a needle phobia.
